How to Adjust Mold Laser Welding Machine Microscope?

Jun 13, 2023

Mold laser welding machine is a classification of laser welding machine, also known as mold laser repair machine. Its main principle is to use high-capacity laser pulse to carry out laser spot welding, laser repair and other ways to locally heat small areas, which is a new type of precision laser welding. Therefore, the adjustment of the microscope has a significant impact on the welding effect. How to adjust the microscope to achieve the best effect when operating the mold laser machine?

Microscope is very important for mold laser welding machine. If the view is not clear or accurate, it will inevitably affect the welding quality and effectiveness. So how to adjust and how to use it? The engineers provided their usage and adjustment techniques.

1.Before the repair welding operation, first turn the clear adjustment knob on the outer side of the eyepiece barrel of the microscope all the way clockwise, so that the two eyepiece barrels are at the same height. This is to maintain consistent clarity when observing the workpiece through two glasses.

2.During operation, place the workpiece on the workbench, move the workbench up and down, and observe the workpiece in the microscope to make it in the clearest state in the field of view of the microscope.

When repairing any workpiece, the workpiece must be in a clear state. Firstly, to ensure compliance with the focal length height with clarity, and secondly, to ensure the quality of the repair welding process with clear eyes.

3.When repairing welding, it is strongly requested that the customer observe the workpiece with two eyes simultaneously while using the microscope. The eyes should not be tightly attached to the eyepiece, nor should they be far away from the eyepiece, approximately 5 to 10 millimeters.

When the fields of view cannot overlap, the two eyepiece holders of the microscope can be adjusted to ensure that the distance between the two eyepieces is consistent with the distance between the two pupils, until the two fields of view overlap. The reason why we need to observe with two eyes simultaneously is that the workpiece we see can have a three-dimensional effect. The high and low positions on the workpiece can be seen clearly, especially the small positions of precision parts. And the workpiece after repair welding can be inspected to observe whether the repair welding position is undercut or burnt, to ensure that the repair welding position and height meet the requirements.
