So what maintenance measures are needed for laser equipment?
Many experienced industry partners may know that antifreeze needs to be replaced in time.
But there are still many doubts:
Can I replace it with water? What are the steps for replacement?
Temperature conditions for replacing antifreeze: local temperature is greater than 0 degrees
Steps to replace antifreeze:
1. Drain all the antifreeze inside the water cooler and laser.
2. Clean the water cooler water tank and laser pipeline with clean water twice, and drain the water.
3. Clean the filter and filter element of the water cooler (some water coolers have them, please consult the equipment manufacturer for details) and the laser water inlet filter (some models of lasers do not have them, please consult our after-sales service engineer for confirmation), and install them. If the filter screen and filter element are damaged, they need to be replaced with new spare parts.
4. Add a certain amount of distilled water or deionized water to the water cooler.
Precautions:
(1) Antifreeze has certain weak corrosiveness and can only be used for a short period of time. Long-term use will cause damage to the laser and cutting head optical components, causing unnecessary losses.
(2) When replacing antifreeze, be sure to clean the water cooler filter, filter element, and laser water inlet filter. If antifreeze is added in the early stage and is not evenly stirred and put into the water cooler, floc will be produced and clog the filter and filter element.
(3) The water needs to be changed regularly. When changing the water, the water cooler filter, filter element and laser water inlet filter should also be cleaned. Because under moderate temperatures, algae and bacteria grow, and dust in the air enters the water, causing the water to deteriorate and easily block the filter, filter element, and waterway for a long time.
